You've changed lives!

All of your time, effort, and donations have made huge impacts! Look out for our next fundraiser!

Stay in Touch

thank you lottery players!

It’s here! A brand-new MRI machine has officially arrived at Huntsville Hospital!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of donors in Muskoka and beyond, our community raised $10 million in just three years through the Focus on Imaging Campaign. Your generous donations helped us purchase Muskoka & Area's first MRI!

The 8,000-pound machine made its journey from the Siemens Facility in Germany on April 30, and is now being installed at Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare’s Huntsville Hospital.

Once up and running this summer, the MRI will complete 5,000 scans a year and will save patients over 700,000 km in travel and more than 7,000 hours on the road.

This is a game-changer for our region. Thank you to every donor who made this possible!

From all of us at Huntsville Hospital Foundation, thank you!

Congratulations Muriel Shaw

Muriel Shaw, winner of $6687.50 April Jack Pot

Our  History:

The Huntsville and District Memorial Hospital Auxiliary was formed in 1955 primarily as strictly as a support group for hospital staff. Through the years we began to raise money and assist financially via various public support events such as tag days. Branches Gift Shop was installed in 19__ and became a major fund raiser.

We now also generate funds by staging public fun events such as house tours, fashion shows, variety shows and the ever popular Christmas Cookie Sale.

With the exception of student & staff scholarships and operational expenses, all proceeds are used to assist the hospital in the purchase of medical equipment.

To Our Community Partners, THANK YOU!
